Henning Hellbenders Coach Profile Image

Kevin Henning

Coach and Board Member

Kevin began riding mountain bike while in College and took a hiatus after graduation and a career in agriculture took away too much time. He returned to riding in 2017 when his two preteen sons began to show a biking interest.

Kevin (and his two sons) joined the Hellbenders in 2021 at the urging of his neighbor, who was also the head coach. Over two years’ time he worked his way through the coaches training and attained level 3 coach for the 2023 season. Because of the family’s participation, his wife Michele earned her way into the coaching staff for the 2023 season as well. Kevin took a role as one of the founding members on the Board of Directors in 2023.

Kevin works in the Mushroom Industry, which is very prominent in Southern Chester County. His family resides in New London, along with their skunk chasing dog, Chloe.

David Molnar

President And Team Manager

David bought his first mountain bike to ride back and forth to class in college. Soon enough he was testing his childhood BMX skills on local singletrack. After college he lived 10 minutes from Brandywine Creek State Park and honed his skills there. He dabbled in amateur racing while living in Southern California and even got on a podium or two.

David joined the Hellbenders as a coach in 2021 with his son participating as a student athlete. He quickly rose to level 3 and his knowledge of the Fair Hill trail system helped him distinguish himself as a leader. The Team Director at the time recognized this and asked David to take over his role starting with the 2022 season. In 2023, the Hellbenders became a 501c3 and David was elected President of the Board of Directors.

Off the bike David works for AAA Club Alliance managing Insurance and Financial Service digital products. He currently lives in Lincoln University, PA with his wife and two kids.

Becky Gaulding Hellbenders BOD

Becky Gaulding

Coach and Treasurer

Becky is a dynamic individual who wears multiple hats with equal passion and dedication. As the treasurer of our esteemed Mountain Bike Team and an elementary school teacher, Becky brings a unique blend of financial expertise and nurturing guidance to both roles.

With the love of the great outdoors and a commitment to fostering a sense of community, Becky is dedicated to ensuring the financial health and success of the Hellbenders MTB Team.

Becky was initially drawn to mountain biking through her son’s interest; Becky quickly embraced the challenges and thrills of the sport, finding joy in exploring nature’s trails and conquering rugged terrain (sometimes). This shared passion became a catalyst for her to not only support Austin’s endeavors but also become an integral part of the mountain biking community. Outside of biking, Becky finds solace and fulfillment in other passions: gardening, exercise of almost any kind, and reading.

Whether balancing budgets, tending to her garden, escaping into the world of literature, or inspiring young minds, Becky exemplifies dedication, integrity, and a genuine passion for making a positive impact in both the biking community and the lives of her students.

Adam Gaulding

Coach and Board Member

Meet Adam, a dedicated father, passionate mountain biker, and accomplished Senior Director at Johnson & Johnson. Adam’s journey into the world of mountain biking wasn’t a solo adventure; it was sparked by his son’s enthusiasm for the sport. Witnessing his son’s fervor ignited Adam’s own interest, and soon they were hitting the trails together.

Not content with merely riding alongside his son, Adam took it a step further and became a certified mountain biking coach. This decision not only allowed him to deepen his bond with his son but also enabled him to share his love for the sport with others. As a coach, he not only imparts technical skills but also fosters a sense of camaraderie and adventure among his riders.

Beyond the exhilarating world of mountain biking and his demanding corporate role, Adam finds joy in spending quality time with his wife and two sons. Whether it’s exploring nature trails, enjoying family dinners, or simply relaxing at home, their presence brings balance and fulfillment to his life. Adam’s commitment to family, his dedication to his career, and his passion for mountain biking truly exemplify his multifaceted and dynamic personality.
